Employees can apply for leave easily through Yuvo in 2 ways via the web app and the mobile app.


Web App

Click on Leave > My Leave

Apply Leave or Compensatory Leave Request.

This brings up the Apply Leave Menu.

  • Leave Type – Select a Leave Type from the list of Leave Types available to you for the present leave period.

  • Description – (optional) A short reason for the leave applied.

  • Begin – The date from when the leave will start. There is an option next to this field to select All Day; or Morning/Afternoon for half day leave requests.

  • End – The date till when the Leave is being requested. There is an option next to this field to select All Day; or Morning/Afternoon for half day leave requests.

  • No. of Working days – Based on the Work Week and Public Holidays assigned to the employee in the system, the total number of working days will be auto-populated and reflected here.

Click on the button Apply to submit leave request. This will automatically notify your direct reporting manager via the Yuvo app, as well as through email to request for their approval.


Mobile App

To apply for leave from the mobile app:

  • Click on the HR button > Leave

  • On the bottom right of the screen, click on the '+' button.

  • Leave Type – Select a Leave Type from the list of Leave Types available to you for the present leave period.

  • Description – (optional) A short reason for the leave applied.

  • Begin – The date from when the leave will start. There is an option next to this field to select All Day; or Morning/Afternoon for half day leave requests.

  • End – The date till when the Leave is being requested. There is an option next to this field to select All Day; or Morning/Afternoon for half day leave requests.

  • No. of Working days – Based on the Work Week and Public Holidays assigned to the employee in the system, the total number of working days will be auto-populated and reflected here.

Click on the button Save to submit leave request. This will automatically notify your direct reporting manager via the Yuvo app, as well as through email to request for their approval.


Things to note

Once the Manager or Admin approves a leave, the employee cannot delete it. Only the Manager or Admin can delete or reject the leave.

Should the Manager be unavailable, the Admin can approve the leave for the Employee.
