Workflows are a series of tasks that a Manager / Employee / group of Employees has to perform. The workflow can be set as a one-off process, or can be repeated (recurring) for an Event Date. Employees can be assigned selected tasks to complete the Workflow.

This article is a guide on how to use the 'People you need to know about' button in the workflow. (See also: How to customise buttons in the tasks as part of a workflow)

This feature is useful for workflows like new employee onboarding and pre-onboarding, where the admin can allow recipients of the task to be introduced to key contacts, mentor, managers in the company.

  • From left menu, select My Employees > Add new joinee
  • This will lead you to a page to key in the employee's Basic Info. Under People to know about, select the respective employees the new joinee needs to know (this can be a mentor, manager, key contacts within the company etc).
  • Select the respective new employee pre-onboarding workflow.
  • If needed to make any changes to the workflow before assigning it to the employee, go to Workflows > select the respective new employee pre-onboarding workflow to edit the tasks

*Note: For the New Joinee to receive a task that allows him/her to be introduced to key contacts (as designated) using the People you need to know button, make sure that your workflow contains a task with the 'People you need to know about' button in it.

Once workflow is assigned and the New Joinee activates his/her account in Yuvo, he/she gets to view the list of tasks assigned to him/her according to the workflow set.

  • The New Joinee can click on the button People you need to know about to learn more about the key people in the company, as specified by the admin
