The Admin can apply for Leave on behalf of any employee. The leave applied by the admin on behalf of employees in such cases have the option to be auto-approved (if selected). If not, it will follow the standard procedure requiring approval from the manager.
This feature is useful especially if the employee has forgotten to apply for leave in emergency situations, or if the manager of an employee is unavailable to approve the leave request.
- From the left menu, click on the Leave option > click on the Team Leave tab
- Select the respective Leave Period for the period of leave applied, and scroll down to the employee for which leave needs to be applied.
- Click on the employee and the details related to the employee will be displayed.
- Click on Apply Leave and fill in the requisite details. (see: How to apply for leave)
